I’m a designer specialized in the field of innovation in education, collaboration, and music. I graduated in multimedia communication design at Politecnico di Milano University, Italy, where I also work since 1999.
My first work was as interaction designer at METID (Methodologies and Technologies for Innovation in Didactics) at Politecnico itself. After 4 years I became responsible of EU funded projects and manager of a local project with the Ministry of Education. Beside these activities, I’m a teacher in multimedia design and in new technologies in didactics, where I’m an expert of social tools applications, OER and games in schools and universities.
I have a long experience in presentations, speeches and chairing in several conferences such as Online Educa, EDEN or national events.
I’ve recently carried a mapping on OERs and MOOCs in Italy.
The three most relevant project I’m now involved as coordinator and project manager are LeHo, that investigates the applications of innovative technologies in HHE (Home and Hospital Education), PSO (the Italian Ministry of Education portal for the school in the hospital) and eLene4work (Learning to learn soft skills and digital soft skills for employability).
I’m also the local project manager of JamToday, another EU funded project focused on the organization of ‘applied game jams’ all around Europe.
Beside all these activities I own two musical labels for which I take care of graphics and productions, often working with Italian and foreign musicians and playing myself experimental music. I’m also exploring collaboration in creative and musical processes from a distance.
